Representing Flynn in the Federal Parliament
The electorate of Flynn is over 132,000 square kilometres and is almost twice the size of Tasmania.
It stretches from the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East and Wondai to the South while taking in the towns in between.
I drive over 50,000 kilometres a year staying in touch with our local communities and spend around 20 weeks in Canberra representing you in Parliament.

I stopped by the Turkey Beach Rural Fire Brigade who were successful in receiving $2,474 from the Federal Government's 2023 Volunteer Grants.
The funding went towards firefighting equipment including backpack blower and free-standing pump.

The Gladstone RSL Sub-Branch Drop-in Centre is officially open! 🇦🇺✅
The Bowls Club recognised years ago the need to provide a suitable space for the Gladstone RSL Sub-Branch to enabled private, dignified and appropriate Veteran support services.
I was pleased to secure $250,000 from the Federal Government at the last election for this much needed community facility.
Thank you to the Gladstone Foundation for the initial grant of $550,000 to allow building to commence. The project also received support from RSL Queensland and the Queensland Government.

Regional Tech Hub is an Australian Government initiative, delivered by the National Farmers’ Federation in collaboration with the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network and Better Internet for Rural, Regional and Remote Australia (BIRRR).
