Gladstone Hospital Petition

Representing Flynn in the Federal Parliament

The electorate of Flynn is over 132,000 square kilometres and is almost twice the size of Tasmania.

It stretches from the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East and Wondai to the South while taking in the towns in between.

I drive over 50,000 kilometres a year staying in touch with our local communities and spend around 20 weeks in Canberra representing you in Parliament.

My electorate offices are open in the following locations to service the large Flynn electorate:

  • 76 Goondoon Street, Gladstone QLD 4680
  • 2/115 Egerton Street, Emerald QLD 4720
  • 39 Capper Street, Gayndah QLD 4625

I’m committed to taking Flynn forward.

Tonight, Peter Dutton delivered the Coalition's Budget in Reply.

He outlined the following measures:

âś…Increase workforce participation, by recommitting to doubling the work bonus for around 80,000 pensioners and veterans.

âś… Support small businesses, by extending the value of assets eligible for the instant asset write-off.

âś… Deliver more affordable and reliable energy by ramping up domestic gas production.

âś… Incentivise junior doctors training in general practice.

âś… Improve community safety with tougher knife laws, tight bail laws, improved online safety and by tackling antisemitism.

âś… Boost Defence by reprioritising wasteful spending.

✅ Reduce permanent migration – from 185,000 to 140,000 for two years (then 150,000 in year three and 160,000 in year four).

âś… Implement a two-year ban on foreign residents purchasing existing homes.

I'm backing Peter Dutton to be our next Prime Minister.

Today I expressed my strong opposition to the Digital Identity Bill 2024.

I have been contacted by many constituents regarding this legislation and they have expressed fears of what it means for either them, their family or their business.

I believe the Labor Government’s Digital ID Bill is seriously flawed and a massive overreach and should be ditched.
