Representing Flynn in the Federal Parliament
The electorate of Flynn is over 132,000 square kilometres and is almost twice the size of Tasmania.
It stretches from the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East and Wondai to the South while taking in the towns in between.
I drive over 50,000 kilometres a year staying in touch with our local communities and spend around 20 weeks in Canberra representing you in Parliament.

Westowe Rural Fire Brigade in Yarwun has received $2,000 for their project, Training/Meeting Room Improvements.
Westowe Rural Fire Brigade volunteers support the local community and Gladstone area. With this funding, they will make improvements to their training room, including purchase of a lectern and chairs to accommodate their team members and trainers.
Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail in Boyne Valley has received $2,000 for their Tree Planting Project.
Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail will plant 35 advanced Dwarf Kurrajong trees along sections of the Boyne Burnett Inland Rail Trail. As the floral emblem of Monto and native to the area, these trees are well-suited to their climate and
soil conditions. Planting trees along the rail trail will help restore native vegetation and ecosystems, provide a habitat for wildlife, improve soil health, and enhance biodiversity along the trail.
Rotary Club of Rockhampton Fitzroy in Gracemere has received $2,000 for their project, Therapy Dolls and Pets for Dementia Patients.
The Rotary Club of Rockhampton will purchase and distribute Therapy Dolls and Pets for Dementia patients in aged care homes and local hospitals. The sensation of holding a doll or pet has proven to be helpful for those who are withdrawn, restless, distressed or anxious, improving wellbeing and encouraging communication.
Emerald Pottery CLUB INC. in Emerald has received $2,000 for their project, Hands on Earth Healing.
