Gladstone Hospital Petition

Representing Flynn in the Federal Parliament

The electorate of Flynn is over 132,000 square kilometres and is almost twice the size of Tasmania.

It stretches from the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East and Wondai to the South while taking in the towns in between.

I drive over 50,000 kilometres a year staying in touch with our local communities and spend around 20 weeks in Canberra representing you in Parliament.

My electorate offices are open in the following locations to service the large Flynn electorate:

  • 76 Goondoon Street, Gladstone QLD 4680
  • 2/115 Egerton Street, Emerald QLD 4720
  • 39 Capper Street, Gayndah QLD 4625

I’m committed to taking Flynn forward.

Flynn Volunteer Awards 🏆

These awards are to recognise our local heroes and show how much they are valued and appreciated. I recently provided an award to Kevin Smith from the Springsure Community Garden.

His nomination read, "Since the Community Garden was established, Kevin has been a tireless worker helping wherever he can. He is one of our regular watering team and can be relied on to fill in if someone is away, he notices when there's an issue with bugs and always weeds as he waters. Although Kevin has a full-time job and a vegetable garden of his own, he never misses watering every Tuesday afternoon. For the garden to continue flourishing, we would love a few more Kevin's!"

Well done Kevin!

The Queensland Government have handed down their 2024-25 Budget. They obviously aren't keen to fix the Bruce Highway between Gladstone and Rockhampton anytime soon with only $1.4 million committed in the 2024-25 financial year!

That won't fix too many potholes!
