The electorate of Flynn is over 132,000 square kilometres and is almost twice the size of Tasmania.
It stretches from the Central Highlands to the West, Gracemere to the North, Gladstone to the East and Wondai to the South while taking in the towns in between.
I drive over 50,000 kilometres a year staying in touch with our local communities and spend around 20 weeks in Canberra representing you in Parliament.
My electorate offices are open in the following locations to service the large Flynn electorate:
- 76 Goondoon Street, Gladstone QLD 4680
- 2/115 Egerton Street, Emerald QLD 4720
- 39 Capper Street, Gayndah QLD 4625
I’m committed to taking Flynn forward.
Today I joined my National Party Colleagues at #Beef2024 and called on Labor to axe their fresh food tax.
Labor’s fresh food tax is another example of the Labor Government biting the hand that feeds it.
The new tax on farmers will affect so many of the industries here at Beef2024 and will inevitably be passed onto consumers, which means even higher grocery bills for those in Flynn.
It is unfathomable the Labor government would ask farmers to pay for the biosecurity risks of international importers from other countries. As the Federal Member for Flynn, I am determined to stop this new tax on our farmers and our food. ... See MoreSee Less

Welcome to Flynn Peter Dutton!
A pleasure to host the Leader of the Opposition, Peter Dutton and Leader of the Nationals, David Littleproud MP in the Flynn electorate at Kalapa this morning along with my colleagues Michelle Landry, Senator Matthew Canavan and Senator Susan McDonald.
Peter and David met with landholders that are being impacted from Labor’s mad rush to renewables with wind turbines and solar panels proposed to be installed near many of landholders properties.
I encourage Anthony Albanese, Chris Bowen and Tanya Plibersek to do the same and meet with these residents and see firsthand how many renewable projects across Central Queensland are the exact opposite to clean and green.
